2026 Lake Wallenpaupack Highlight

Lake Wallenpaupack marks its 100th yr anniversary - since the lake's completion and official opening to the public on July 31, 1926.

Centennial Specials

Throughout 2026, Runaway Train Brewery in Hawley is offering "$2.50 Declaration Lagers" and $1.00 wings every Sunday to honor both the Lake Centennial and America’s 250th birthday.

To mark Lake Wallenpaupacks 100 yr anniversary, Lacawac Sanctuary is offering a 1913 Development Planning Map that shows early plans for the lake we all know and love. Visit Lacawac Gift Shop to purchase. $15.00

Fourth of July Fireworks

Sponsored by the Northern Poconos Chamber of Commerce, this annual display over the lake is a major July 4th draw.

The biggest event of the year, held the last weekend of August. It features the "Wallypalooza" floating concert, boat shows, open-air markets, and a motorcycle ride.

An annual car show at the high school benefiting a local scholarship fund. The 2nd annual event is July 18, 2026

Held annually in Bingham Park, featuring approximately 50-100 local crafters. The 2026 fair is slated for June 13
